Toen wij off-grid in Spanje zijn gaan wonen, hebben wij een betrouwbare installateur gezocht voor onze zonne-systeem, dus panelen en batterijen. Jim is langsgeweest en heeft een goede offerte afgegeven. Hij is erg kundig over de materie. Wat na een tijd absoluut blijft hangen, is de achteraf service die hij kosteloos levert. Als het systeem ergens vastloopt, of vragen oproept, hoef je Jim maar te bellen en hij loopt stap voor stap door het probleem en samen los je het dan op. Vooral met deze service onderscheid Jim zich van andere installateurs. 100% aan te bevelen.

Jim has provided excellent over the phone advise to us as we are over an hour away from where he is based. We have just installed new batteries and they weren't working correctly. From the information that he gave us we can change the settings to make them work correctly with our solar panels. He has also given us great advice about new solar panels too. We highly recommend Jim he is honest and has a huge amount of knowledge.

We live and work off-grid in the mountains, half an hour's drive from civilization. For us, the reliability of the system is of vital importance, but so is the reliability of the installer. Jim is very knowledgeable and has delivered us a system in record time that has been providing power flawlessly for two years now. We are happy with the investment we have made and can run everything we need on the sun. How wonderful is that. The times we had to ask Jim for advice, he was quick to offer help. He never acts as a technician but always as a friend.

Hace una semana tuve problemas con mi inversor. Llamé a Jim y pasó ese mismo día con otro inversor para relevarme y que no me quedara sin luz. Se envió el inversor, todo se resolvió bajo garantía y se volvió a colocar cuidadosamente hoy. ¡Gracias a Jim por arreglar todo tan rápido!

Jim installed a full solar system to our little cortijo in the mountains, and did an incredible job of it. We asked for a system that would replicate, as best as possible, mains electricity. The system is slick and professionally fitted and is as requested... We can watch TV, charge phones, use computers, book kettles, run a refrigerator. It's like being on the mains.Besides that Jim gives exemplary customer service. Solar systems aren't simple, so having someone who can talk you through the menus and protocols to set up for different times of the year etc is so important . I can't imagine what a mess I'd have made of things without his help.He also operates an upkeep/maintenance service to those within reach of his HQ, again, critical if its a second home.I can't recommend them enough.

Jim installed our system a year ago in the Almanzora Valley and we can't fault it. It is more than adequate for our needs and I am a demanding user as I work in the IT field so I'm always wanting to run electronic gadgets from our home. We have recently been using air con in our house and as long as you buy a suitable energy effecient model similar to our Mitsubishi you can run this without causing any problems (obviously this all depends on the sizing of the system)We found it was much better to invest in new energy efficient white goods rather than bring our own from the UK. With the exception to the dishwasher, washing machine and air con I rarely use above 200 watts and I have a 9 room cortijo and I have a full smart home installation with Phillips hue light bulbs. My aircon unit once it's cooled the room down only uses about 100 to 200 watts once it's cooled the room down to temperature and has been very useful in the recent warmer weather.I found that if you get a system installed with Jim you will get an excellent service from a very knowledgeable person. You won't be overcharged and you will have a system built to your needs. As some of the other comments said Jim is always available at the end of the phone and is very responsive.And finally thanks again to Jim and the team for a simple start to life with Solar over the last year and in my opinion you are far more knowledgeable than the others I spoke to during my research.Edward

Two years ago we asked Jim for advice on upgrading our solar power system to meet our needs. Thanks to his expertise, he was able to identify aspects of our system which required upgrading and carry out the work. We now harvest double the power we did before and have knowledge and control of what we are harvesting and using. Jim also taught us some of the important basics in running and maintaining our system. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Solar Andalucia has been a lifeline for us this winter. We noticed problems with low battery capacity in December and luckily I was given Jim's number by a friend. From the first call to Jim we felt instant re-assurance, as Jim advised us on some diagnostic tests to try in order to fix the problem. We spent at least 2 hrs on the phone over several calls, during which Jim patiently gave advice and help free of charge. He even called me on a sunny day to remind me to run an equalisation charge! Having had our system checked over and enhanced we are now very happy with it, and we are very happy with Solar Andalucia's service and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

We have been off grid here in Las Alpujarras for 12 years using solar panels to produce our electrical power. During the first few years wehad problem after problem resulting in the destruction of a set of very expensive batteries. I bought a solar system from somebody else before I realised Solar Andalucia existed. Big mistake! The company I bought from were incompetent and actually damaged some extremely expensive batteries due to their incompetence. Jim came out and sorted it all out for me and completely recovered the system from potential disaster.His knowledge is top class and he takes great care to explain everything and to help us live with it and get the optimum use.Just wish I'd found him in the first place! Highly recommended.

Jim designed and installed our solar system two years ago and it has worked flawlessly ever since, providing power as efficiently as if we were on the grid. The installation has been widely admired and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Jim is also always happy to answer clients' questions, however obvious the answers may seem to him. Jim has evolved and upgraded my solar system over the last 3 years. He is always very responsive and reliable and takes the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, even if It is just a question I have had over the phone. In other words solar Andalucia provides great customer service. Jim is also very transparent on the breakdown of costs relating to materials vs time spent on the job which is helpful and reassuring. I would and do recommend Solar Andalucia to anyone that is in the market to upgrade or install a solar system.

In my opinion, Solar Andalucia are one of the best photo-voltaic engineers in Southern Spain. I have spent 20 years living off grid so thought I knew it all about home power but this guy knows literally EVERYTHING there is to know about getting the most out of your set up. I needed my system in place and working at a tight deadline before arriving with the family last year and was pretty nervous about everything being ready when we turned up. I needn't have worried. Not only was everything 100%, but it was tidy, robust and with great attention to detail. On top of that he even sorted out a superb internet connection for us! Excellent service.

I have just upgraded my solar system. My property runs only on this system and the one I had was not adequate for our use. Jim Skau came to assess the property and has made a superb job of upgrading our system. The work was done efficiently and the site left clean and tidy. It was great to deal with someone who knew what he was talking about and who could deliver the goods. The price was really competative too.
